Roberto Lucci and Paolo Orlandini collaborated for several years with Marco Zanuso Snr and with Richard Sapper.

Since 1968, they have been a partnership. Over 3 million chairs carry the signature Lucci and Orlandini. Together they have designed over 340 items.

Lucci and Orlandini have taken part in the Triennial of Milan various times, and their work is included in design collections of the Museum of Modern Art of New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago, the Museum of Arts and Crafts of Hamburg and the Centre National d’Art Contemporain of Paris.

Various products designed by Lucci and Orlandini were selected for the first Compasso d’Oro award, and they have also won several international awards.

They are joint authors of the book “Product Design Models”; published by Van Nostrand Rehinold, New York (1990).
